The No.18 Bentwood Chair is a classic European bentwood design manufactured by Fameg in Poland, combining enduring design with traditional craftsmanship and the practical requirements of modern hospitality.

The design is associated with Michael Thonet, whose pioneering work with steam-bent timber in the 19th century helped establish bentwood furniture as an enduring furniture style. The No.18 continues this distinctive tradition with its elegant curved frame, rounded backrest and lightweight construction.

Fameg has a particularly strong connection to the history of bentwood furniture. In 1881, Michael Thonet's sons established the Thonet Brothers factory in Radomsko, Poland, where bentwood furniture production began. Fameg continues the region's long-standing bentwood manufacturing tradition today.

Crafted from European beech using established bentwood techniques, the No.18 offers the distinctive character and proportions associated with classic European bentwood furniture, while providing the durability and functionality expected in commercial settings.

Its timeless appearance makes it a natural choice for cafés, restaurants, bars, hotels and hospitality interiors, working equally well in traditional, contemporary and refined commercial spaces.
