1. Governing Law
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. By placing an order with ANM FURNITURE, you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
  2. Orders and Deposits
    Orders must be confirmed in writing and require a 50% deposit to commence production or reserve stock. The remaining 50% balance is payable prior to dispatch. All custom and stocked orders are subject to acceptance by ANM FURNITURE and confirmed by a formal order acknowledgment.
  3. Product Information & Images
    Images and descriptions on our website and quotes are for general reference only. Due to differences in screen settings, lighting, or supplier variations, actual colours, textures, and materials may vary. Natural products such as wood and fabric may exhibit unique characteristics, including variations in grain, tone, or texture, which are not considered faults.
  4. Pricing & Quotes
    All prices are listed in Australian Dollars and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the issue date unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  5. Deliveries & Lead Times
    • All deliveries are charged separately and quoted based on location, size, and delivery conditions.
    • Delivery is to ground floor or street level only unless otherwise arranged in advance.
    • Delivery timeframes are estimates only. While we strive to meet them, ANM FURNITURE accepts no liability for any delays caused by suppliers, couriers, or external factors.
    • If re-delivery is required due to site inaccessibility or no one available to receive the goods, additional delivery fees will apply.
    • Delivery does not include unpacking, positioning, or rubbish removal unless prearranged.
  6. Risk & Ownership
    Risk in the goods passes to the customer at the point of dispatch. Ownership of goods remains with ANM FURNITURE until full payment is received.
  7. Custom and Outdoor Products
    • Products classified as suitable for outdoor use will be clearly indicated. Any use of non-outdoor products in external environments is entirely at the customer’s risk and voids warranty.
    • Custom pieces are made to order based on client specifications. As such, they may not be cancelled or returned once production has commenced.
  8. Returns & Cancellations
    • All sales are final. ANM FURNITURE does not accept returns due to change of mind, incorrect selection, or customer expectation discrepancies.
    • We will, however, make every effort to accommodate minor post-sale variations where possible, at our sole discretion.
    • No cancellation or change to an order is accepted once materials have been sourced or production has started.
    • Any approved cancellations may incur fees to cover costs incurred up to the point of cancellation (minimum 30% restocking or production fee).
  9. Faults, Damages & Claims
    • Claims for manufacturing faults or damages must be submitted in writing within 2 business days of receiving goods.
    • Claims must include a detailed description and clear supporting photographs.
    • If approved, ANM FURNITURE will offer, at its discretion: repair, replacement, or parts supply.
    • Goods returned without written approval will not be accepted.
    • Damage caused by misuse, mishandling, environmental exposure, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered.
  10. Warranty
    • ANM FURNITURE provides a 12-month structural warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise stated.
    • Warranty excludes wear and tear, misuse, modifications, improper storage or maintenance, and surface or cosmetic imperfections.
    • Natural materials such as wood may crack or shift with environmental changes. These are inherent characteristics and not considered defects.
    • All warranty claims are return-to-base. Clients are responsible for transport costs to and from our warehouse.
  11. Materials & Care
    • Wood: Natural timber may expand or contract due to environmental conditions. Cracks or minor shifts are considered normal. Use timber oils and avoid exposure to extreme conditions.
    • Fabric & Vinyl: Protect from direct sunlight, vacuum regularly, avoid harsh cleaners. Professional cleaning is recommended every 6-12 months.
    • Using third-party protectants (e.g. Scotchgard) may void warranties unless approved in writing.
  12. Storage
    Where delivery is delayed at the client’s request, free storage is offered for up to 2 weeks after the agreed dispatch date. Thereafter, a storage fee of 1.5% per month (minimum charge may apply) will be invoiced, and final payment will be required to release the goods.
  13. Liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, ANM FURNITURE is not liable for:

    • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss,
    • Delays in delivery or production,
    • Client misuse or failure to maintain products,
    • Loss arising from third-party carriers,
    • Advice not provided in writing.
  14. Force Majeure
    ANM FURNITURE is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport failures, or supplier delays.
  15. Intellectual Property
    All content, designs, and product specifications are the intellectual property of ANM FURNITURE and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
