1. Warranty Coverage
ANM FURNITURE provides a minimum 12-month warranty on all furniture products purchased in Australia. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material faults that are not the result of normal wear and tear or inherent characteristics of the materials. This warranty applies only to products used as intended and does not cover commercial use unless explicitly agreed in writing.
  2. Warranty Period
The warranty period starts from the date the sale contract is completed. Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, the warranty is for a minimum of 12 months.
  3. Warranty Exclusions
    This warranty does not cover:

    • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or abnormal use (including but not limited to dropping, crushing, impact with hard surfaces, exposure to extreme heat or cold, or improper maintenance).
    • Repairs or alterations made by unauthorized service providers.
    • Modifications, incorrect adjustments, or use with incompatible accessories.
    • Damage caused by exposure to environmental conditions outside recommended parameters such as temperature or humidity extremes.
    • Damage caused by liquids, stains, or improper cleaning methods.
    • Normal wear and tear or natural material characteristics, such as color variations or surface changes over time.
  4. Furniture Care and Use Guidelines
To maintain your furniture and preserve the warranty, please observe the following:

    • Use furniture only for its designed purpose. Avoid standing on seats or sitting on armrests.
    • Place furniture on level surfaces to maintain stability.
    • Use furniture indoors in controlled environments: recommended temperature 10-35°C, relative humidity 40-70%. Avoid placing furniture near heat sources or on wet surfaces.
    • Protect furniture from direct sunlight to prevent colour fading or degradation.
    • Protect surfaces from heat, moisture, and chemicals (e.g., hot cookware, solvents).
    • Wipe up spills immediately to avoid staining or damage.
    • Use protective pads to prevent surface damage, ensuring materials used do not cause staining.
    • Avoid placing sharp, heavy, or abrasive objects on the furniture.
    • Regularly check and tighten screws and connectors to maintain structural integrity.
    • Furniture requiring assembly must be assembled according to instructions using appropriate tools.
    • Move furniture carefully, without load, and avoid dragging on the floor to prevent damage.
    • Be aware that natural wear may include minor colour fading, fabric pilling, or foam indentations.
  5. Claims and Returns
    • All warranty claims require the product to be returned to ANM FURNITURE’s nominated warehouse or facility at the customer’s expense for assessment.
    • If the claim is approved, repaired or replacement products will be returned at the customer’s expense.
    • Claims must be made within the warranty period and accompanied by proof of purchase.
    • Inspect products immediately upon delivery and report any damage or shortages within 24 hours. Failure to do so may void claims.
  6. Liability Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, ANM FURNITURE limits its liability to the repair, replacement, or refund of defective products only. ANM FURNITURE is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profit or business interruption.
  7. Dispute Resolution
In case of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith within 5 business days of notice, escalating to senior management if unresolved within a further 5 business days. If unresolved, legal action may be pursued. The laws of Victoria govern this agreement.
